What are the side effects of Miochol®-E?
Some patients do experience clouding or swelling (edema) of the cornea or corneal decomposition. In rare cases, patients experienced a slow heart beat (bradycardia), low blood pressure (hypotension), flushing, breathing difficulties, and sweating.

Can I use other medications after my doctor has instilled Miochol-E?
There have been reports that Miochol-E may be ineffective when used in patients treated with topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents.

Who should not take Miochol-E?
Miochol-E should not be used by anyone with a known allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients.

Active ingredient: acetylcholine chloride

Inactive ingredients: mannitol, sodium acetate, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, and sterile water for injection
